We built a centralized, multi-tenant LMS for a growing franchise network with 22+ franchise organizations.
Each franchise operates within its own tenant while corporate administrators retain centralized control over official training, standards, certifications and network-wide reporting.

The client needed consistent training across the franchise network without forcing every location into the same administrative workflow.

How the system works
Corporate administrators control official learning content and reporting standards. Franchise owners assign courses, manage local users and maintain their own handbook information without affecting other franchises.
Employees only see their assigned training, progress, completed learning and certifications.
Architecture & technology
Moodle provides the core LMS, with MuTMS and custom development used for multi-tenancy and workflows beyond native Moodle behavior.
The architecture was designed so additional franchises, users, courses, certifications and seasonal training programs can be added without deploying separate LMS installations.
