A booking platform where availability, pricing, payment and operations stay synchronized
We built a headless platform for a UK luxury group-accommodation business that needed high-speed property discovery alongside complex operational integrations.
The product connects customer-facing search and booking with external PMS systems, payments, invoicing, CRM automation and internal management.
The challenge
The business had to aggregate property information and availability from multiple systems while preventing double bookings and keeping pricing, restrictions, payments and guest communication synchronized.
The frontend also needed to remain fast despite heavy visual content and complex filtering.
What we built
- Next.js customer-facing web application
- Server-side rendering and static generation
- Search and filtering
- Laravel REST API
- Hostaway API integration
- SuperControl API integration
- Availability and rate synchronization
- Double-booking prevention
- Stripe Elements
- Deposit and installment workflows
- PDF invoicing
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Custom admin portal
- Webhook monitoring and retry tools
- HubSpot lead and deal synchronization
- Automated guest lifecycle workflows
How the system works
Property and availability data flows from external PMS systems into the central application. Customers search and book through the Next.js frontend, while the backend coordinates availability, payments and downstream operational updates.
HubSpot then receives enquiries, abandoned checkouts and completed bookings to support the broader guest journey.
Architecture & technology
Next.js handles the frontend experience, Laravel the central API/data orchestration layer, and background queues process webhook-driven updates.
Hostaway, SuperControl, Stripe and HubSpot are integrated into the operational lifecycle rather than treated as disconnected add-ons.
- Next.js
- React
- Laravel
- Redis queues
- Hostaway API
- SuperControl API
- Stripe
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- HubSpot
Outcome & impact
The result is a booking and operations platform that keeps customer experience and back-office systems synchronized.
It demonstrates how headless architecture can be valuable when the commercial experience needs to move faster than the legacy systems underneath it.
